SUMMARY:EC Farm to Fork Conference
DESCRIPTION:Register by 9th October to attend the virtual Farm to Fork 2020 conference. \nThe conference is hosted by the European Commissioner for Health & Food Safety\, Ms. Stella Kyriakides\, and the European Commissioner for Agriculture\, Mr. Janusz Wojciechowski. The opening address of the Conference will be given by the European Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans. \nStakeholders across the food value chain\, public authorities\, international and civil society organisations\, as well as other citizens and the interested public are invited to join the debate and contribute to the implementation of the recently adopted Farm to Fork Strategy for a fair\, healthy and environmentally friendly food system. The event will also provide a forum for discussion on the challenges and opportunities linked to the transition to sustainable food systems\, as well as on possible further areas of intervention. \nDISARM’s Project Coordinator\, Frederik Leen (EV ILVO)\, will be presenting about our project and the Farm Health Team Approach on 16th October. \n
