In our interactive webinar\, we will share testimonials with hands-on experiences of farmers\, vets\, pet owners and breeders on reducing AMU and demonstrate how the actions and innovative solutions of livestock sector actors tackle AMR. \nKey topics that we will cover in our webinar include:\n\nAMU/AMR developments in the agricultural sector over the last 10 years and consequences of AMU/AMR in farm animals\nDifferent approaches and different angles to tackle AMR: at what level do we contribute?\nExperiences and progress on innovative solutions from the field\nOpen floor discussion\n\nAbout the Antimicrobial Awareness Week\nCelebrated between 18-24 November each year\, the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) aims to increase awareness of global antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and to encourage best practices among the general public\, health workers\, farmers\, animal health professionals and policy makers to avoid the further emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections. \nWe believe it is important to make AMR a globally recognized issue with engagement of all sectors and all crucial actors (One Health approach)\, to raise awareness about AMR\, and to encourage behaviour change towards prudent use of antimicrobials.
