COPA-COGECA is the united voice of European farmers and agri-cooperatives. Together, it ensures that EU agriculture is sustainable, innovative and competitive, guaranteeing food security to half a billion people throughout Europe. COPA represents over 22 million farmers and their family members whilst COGECA represents the interests of around 22,000 agricultural cooperatives. They have almost 70 member organisations from the EU member states.

COPA-COGECA´s role in the DISARM project will be to guarantee a successful dissemination of the project´s outcomes amongst the farming community. This will be achieved through COPA-COGECA´s striking communication infrastructure that includes 45 different Working Parties and 10 Task-Forces covering the whole range of farming-related topics. Especially the Working Parties on: Research & Innovation, Animal Health and Welfare, Feedingstuffs, Beef and Veal, Eggs and Poultry, Pigmeat, as well as Milk and Dairy Products will be actively involved in order to engage with farmers and their representatives from all over the European Union.

Furthermore, in order to connect with the end-users, COPA-COGECA will use its website, newsletters and social media network (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube) as valuable platform to disseminate the knowledge made available in DISARM Thematic Network.
