Brainstorm methods – Rolestorming
This brainstorming involves some sort of role-play. The attendees have to take the perspective on the issue of one of the other participants. E.g. The farmer tries to approach the problem from the veterinary perspective, the farm advisor takes the role of the farmer and the vet empathizes into the role of farm advisor. This way of brainstorming can lead to more mutual understanding of each other’s perspectives and acceptable solutions. Also you might come up with ideas that you would not have suggested when staying in your usual role.
